Super safari experience. We did 5 days of safaris with Sharad Vats's team, in Kanga and Pench, in April 2022. Right from the planning to the actual execution, Sharad was accessible, knowledgeable and helpful, to ensure we got a good experience. Not only was the itinerary planned and tweaked multiple times to suit us, but our accommodation and food needs were also taken care of well.

Tiger Safari in Jim Corbett National Park Overview

The government frequently called on Jim Corbett, a British hunter turned tracker, conservationist, author, and naturalist, to kill the man-eating tigers in the United Provinces. During these journeys, he underwent a transformation. A lover of nature should read all of his novels. It has been so brilliantly explained how to go from “shooting a Tiger with the rifle” to “shooting a Tiger with a camera.”

Like all other national parks in India, Corbett has many zones and gates. They are all more attractive than one another. The Dhikala Zone, however, is the most cinematic of them all (and feel free to accuse us of being biassed). In this area, there are a few Forest Rest Houses that are very simply designed with the most minimal amenities.

The location is amazing beyond words. Imagine waking up to new Tiger pug marks outside your cottage after spending the night in the middle of dense forests. This tiger safari to Corbett National Park is probably the most exciting ever.
An element of the Terai Arc Landscape is Jim Corbett National Park. Due to their reputation for shyness, Terai tigers typically leave the track as soon as they are detected. But in recent years, it appears that the tendency is shifting. Tigers have begun to appear more frequently as they have grown used to the area. Every location, course, and backdrop in Corbett are picturesque. And the joy is enormous if you see your chosen mammal on the trail, whether it be a Tiger or an Elephant.

Tiger Safari in Jim Corbett National Park Detailed Itinerary

Our representative will greet you when you arrive at the New Delhi Airport. He will ensure a smooth transfer to the hotel and will assist you with check-in. All of your travel documentation will be given over to you and explained. Stay the night at the hotel.

After a leisurely breakfast at your New Delhi hotel, proceed to Corbett National Park. The park is about 275 kilometres away, which equates to about 05 hours on the road. Check into the Dhikala Forest Lodge when you arrive.

The English built the Dhikala Lodge almost a century ago as part of their control and management of the forested territory during the British Raj. After a whole day of monitoring the forest, their rangers needed to rest. Corbett National Park is home to these one-of-a-kind woodland lodges. The only place where you can stay inside the National Park is at Corbett. This complex is situated on the banks of the Ramganga River, with views of the Himalayan mountains.

After lunch, go on an afternoon safari to one of India’s most beautiful national parks. To prevent any predator from smelling non-vegetarian food, only vegetarian cuisine is offered at the Lodge. The Lodge also prohibits the usage of alcoholic beverages.

At sunset, return from the afternoon excursion. Dhikala Forest Lodge provides dinner and lodging.

Start your morning expedition when the sun rises. The country of the Roar, Trumpet, and Song has been eloquently defined as Corbett. Corbett’s breathtaking and stunning splendour makes everyone want to press the camera button.

The launch of Project Tiger in India was held in Corbett, which is a great distinction. The Reserve’s remarkable biodiversity can be traced in part to the abundance of habitat available. The Reserve contains both Himalayan and peninsular flora and wildlife due to its location in the foothills of the Central Himalayas.

Dhikala for dinner and the night.

Leave early in the morning and late in the afternoon for a game drive in the park. Dhikala Forest Rest House is where you’ll spend the night and eat all of your meals.

After breakfast and a morning wildlife drive in the Dhikala Zone, check out of the lodge and proceed to the Corbett National Park exit gate. If you’re driving out to the park gate, don’t forget to bring your camera since you might see wildlife on the main road. In this utopia, a three-night stay seems insignificant.

Drive to New Delhi once you’ve left Corbett. The distance is around 275 kilometers, which should take you about 05 hours to travel. Transfer to the hotel or the airport for your next flight.
